Believe it or not, it's the first time in my life I was able to watch the Thanksgiving Parade in New York. I always wanted to watch it, but unfortunately I don't get NBC on TV and I'm not able to watch it live online. No idea why.
So, this morning I started searching the web, I thought somewhere must be a live stream from this parade. Nearly everyone in the US is watching it. 3.5 Million are watching it live in New York. There has to be something online.
After searching almost one hour, I found "Earth Cam". Seems they have placed web cams on well-known places all over the world and that includes....Times Square!!!!!
At least I can watch it, I thought, but to my surprise I had sound as well...and someone who was operating the camera and made sure I got really great pics. I wasn't able to detect the cast of "Memphis", who was part of this years parade as well and I'm pretty sure I didn't get the complete great atmosphere during the parade, but at least I saw more than just a big Snoopy next day on the news.
So, even though I was jumping up and down in front of my screen like an excited kid, I was able to take some snapshots of the parade.
Click on the pics to enlarge them.
